A common complaint I’ve noticed is that months and years are flying past and you feel like you don’t get enough done.
get dreams done.”
As you may have learned, each year that goes by feels shorter and shorter since it’s a smaller percentage of your life as compared to a year when you were younger.
Our professional and personal routines, social lives and unexpected events can dominate the present. They also add to the feeling of time flying by. We’ve all experienced some weeks and months flying by or crawling by. Regardless of either notion, a great way to signify progress and make each month and year count is to set monthly goals.
We know that goals can be set for all aspects at every level of business and personal lives. If you’re new to it, start with a simple yet effective approach. As you build momentum, the number of goals increase giving you plenty to do on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. This way you can look back and be astonished at the magnitude of progress you have made. It’s an empowering feeling!
Start simple, get in the groove and evolve as required. For some, it’s lists on paper, tasks set in diaries, to-do lists on smartphones or like me, a project management software like Asana.
Start by setting a goal for the next month end. Start with one professional and one personal goal. Start small to win big!
